A woman in her 80s has been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle accident at the corner of Angove and Hardie Roads in Spencer Park.
A St John Ambulance spokeswoman said she had no major injuries.
A Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said Albany fire fighters were notified at 12.10pm and attended alongside Police and St John Ambulance.
“One person was trapped inside one of the vehicles,” he said.
“Career firefighters from Albany were able to assist extrication of one of the people by cutting the doors of the car.
“They were removed from the vehicle by St John Ambulance and taken to hospital by 12.45pm.”
A Police spokeswoman said the woman had been driving a Subaru Forester and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
She said the driver of the other vehicle, a Toyota Landcruiser, was not injured.
No charges have been laid.
