Albany Vikings members definitely over achieved at the AFL Masters tournament in Perth.
Vikings president Rod Lockett said Ian Beeck, Brett Hall, Joe Galantino, Jonno Woods, and Peter Smith all made it into the All Australian Team.

Playing for WA
Lockett said he always enjoyed going to play in the AFL Masters.
“To put on a WA jumper is something pretty special,” he said.
“It’s great because you get to meet a whole group of people you’ve played footy with over the years,” he said.
““A lot of guys you might have played with over the course of your playing career.””
Lockett said each division played three games during the week.
“There is something like 800 players from four different states,” he said.
“WA won all divisions – we are the home side who had the most players but we still take pride in that.
“Victoria and Queensland and NSW couldn’t make it because of COVID so we only had Tasmania, South Australia and NT.”
The 2021 AFL Masters tournament took place over several days at Langley Park in September and October.
