Long weekend littered with road accidents ends with a vehicle on its roof in Princess Royal Harbour

Motorists noticed a car in the water off Princess Royal Drive this morning near Residency Road.

The car was on its roof, and a collection of soil, weed and debris showed it had been in the water for some time when The Weekender attended around 8.30 this morning.

Police had just left the scene according to an onlooker.

The car was on its roof, and a collection of soil, weed and debris showed it had been in the water for some time when The Weekender attended around 8.30 this morning.

Southern Ports workers were on the scene carrying out unrelated maintenance to a nearby culvert.

Police have been contacted for comment.
