Ravensthorpe Shire CEO gets the boot

Yesterday a decision was made to remove Mr Gavin Pollock as the Chief Executive Officer of Shire of Ravensthorpe. 

At the Special Council Meeting held, information provided by the Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC), which resulted in the removal of the CEO.

When this article was released, the Council has not provided further information apart from thanking Mr Pollock for his contribution to the shire. 

Responsibility for the delivery of community promises now lies with Acting CEO

Acting Chief Executive Officer Mr Brian Jones will be responsible for the delivery of promises made to the community and the projects mentioned in the Shire budget.

Progression towards a recruiting a new CEO has started as the Council seeks an individual wanting to work for and with their community. 

“The CCC’s report has no set date but could be released before October. “

Executive Assistant to the CEO Kim Bransdy mentioned that the CCC’s report has no set date but could be released before October. 

She continued to explain that at present limited information had been provided by the CCC and that no further comments are being made.
